Default Oil Filter Relocation

When considering a Remote Oil Filter Relocation Kit what if anything is there to consider? Are there any drawbacks to having one installed? Is Oil Pressure effected?

1) Use BIG lines and large port filter housings and you will be fine.

2) Try to keep the filter housing near the back of the engine (close to firewall) unless you use large lines then mounting on front of passenger head is ok too.

3) Some plumb from the Front of head mounted filter housing with a extra oil circuit to the front of the driver's side oil gallery. Mike and Eric for one.

We installed the moroso remote this winter. -10 lines. 2 quart filter. Works great. No pressure loss and much easier to work on.

I used -10 lines as well, filter mounted behind passenger front tire. Seems to be working well thus far.

Like the mount. Would the upper port be good for a low pressure cutoff switch as well as a pressure sensor/gauge ??

It is after the oil is filtered. Should work for you.
