Default 1967 GTO/Tempest/Lemans upper control arm cross shafts needed

Anyone have a pair of really nice original shafts they want to part with? It's okay if they are still attached to the control arms. I will remove them myself after buying the whole unit. If selling that way, hopefully the control arms are severely pitted or damaged. Hate to cut up good control arms just for the shafts. I'm in SoCal and prefer local parts to eliminate shipping. Thanks.

Robert

I have a pair already removed. Email me direct for pics, etc.: drolds1@bellsouth.net. Thanks, Bob.

Don't know how to remove them any other way. Is there a technique for removing the bushings while shafts are in place?

Thanks for the input. I'd be afraid my air chisel (and my ability to use it) might damage both the cross shaft and the control arm. Most control arms I've seen this old are severely pitted anyway and not worth saving for what I have in mind. While more often than not, the shafts are still in great condition. Looking for original shafts to install into my restored concours arms. More than willing to pay the much higher shipping costs for complete units but not willing to cut up good parts to get the shaft (pun intended). Ideally, the shafts would already be removed without damaging them like Rocketman has.

The ones that I have are aftermarket, "problem solver" offset shafts, that were designed to compensate for improper camber, due to a sagging crossmember. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Default Still looking to get the shaft!

Need good condition ORIGINAL upper control arm cross shafts, both styles. Early ones have the bolts on the ends while the later ones utilized locknuts. Thanks to Markvecc I have a good one of the later style now. Thanks Mark!
