Not even close! The 63 switch is a one year only part!
Attached is a picture of one. |

It looks correct to me, a score for someone needing one

I believe that is a 63, I compared it against an extra one I have, all the colored wires are in the same spots. The housing looks correct too.

Yes, it is a 63 switch! When I 1st looked at it, I thought that it only had 1 picture that was very dark? If the tangs are still very flexible, it is a smoking deal!

That's a very rare switch, one year only. You have to take the steering column out of the car and just about all the way apart to replace one of those.

switch pics
Here are a couple pics of a 63 car's switch I have had for many years. Funny thing is that about 20 years ago I made a deal to sell it to somebody and I packaged it up in a box with the buyer's address ready to go. He never sent the money so the box sat on a shelf for about 18 years when I "found it" and put it back away.
The "green wire" apparently goes to the horn contact ring (not included in picture). It looks like the wiring harness plug is different from the one pictured above. I note the box for the one pictured above indicates it is for a "station wagon". I don't know if that makes a difference. |
