Incredible car, but not factory stock from the Manufacture. Big difference.

Smarten up GM and bring back Pontiac to make the Firebirds.

Brad, I want 2 of them. PM me the details to get them. I can send you a money order. Thanks.

Wasn't it 2009 that Pontiac was killed?
2010 was the last year of Pontiac production, 2009 was the year they announced it was being terminated.

They're not made yet Gary, I sold out of them in 2011, and am trying to get a feel if I can sell enough of them to make up a minimum order. Mike Grablik has just about worn his out and would like some more of them, and I don't want to get stuck with 2 dozen of them.

Side view surely is "clean".
Driving a civilized street machine with 1,046 lb.ft. of torque would be impressive... no matter what it's based on.

I don't understand some of the comments. The F body is the same design just styled differently and much more appealing as a firebird from 67-2002. The motor seems to be the issue, but we haven't had a Pontiac engine since the 301 died.
The '98 Bird was the same as the Camaro and we loved it, what's the difference here?

The self described purists hate anything post 1981. Just ask one of the guys that drives a Honda for their D/D because Pontiac ceased to exist in their mind after 1981, they drive anything but a Pontiac. Pontiac is their hobby car, not a form of transportation.

I like those wheels, a better option than trying to stretch out snowflakes or honeycombs to 20" that never look right that big.
Nice car, no big press at auto shows because its not a real Pontiac built in a GM factory.
If it was a real deal Pontiac does anyone think GM would allow a car like this to be produced to upstage and destroy the Camaro?...I doubt it.

I remember when the GTO was just a Holden, but most people came to accept it anyway. At least this one starts life as a GM car.

For me here is the difference. First I have to buy a damn Camaro and the Chevrolet division of General Motors will gain some profit from the sale. This is the same division that from 1926-2010, did everything in their power to end the existence of the Pontiac Division by using the power of numbers to finally squash Pontiac out of existence. Then after I buy the Camaro I have to pay some "Kit Car" company to sort of make it look like a Pontiac. Why not avoid all that nonsense and buy a Ford or Chrysler and have a factory built Hot Rod? General Motors will never get one more penny from me after what they did to Pontiac the rest of my life. I guess that's why I have worn out my favorite T-shirt.

I liked the car. The SD455 sparks an interest. The only vehicle I'd buy is a GMC truck. I feel the same about chebie they stuck it to Pontiac. No other vehicle at gm strikes my interest.I saw story about new Firebird TA being created by buick, yukkkk to spark some performance image. Some just don't get it, maybe I'm the one!

Only the real deal does it for me.

I'll be looking at a 79 TA 400 4 speed next Saturday's cruise night.... I hope he shows up. I saw it out yesterday and pulled up beside it at a redlight on my way to PA. LOL, Neither of us had the time to talk about it... only that he doesn't like it and would rather be driving his Corvette that was following him.

It is nice to actually see People talking about Pontiacs Again, especially since so many are popping up in television. If GM was smart they would do a limited run of Trans Ams just to gauge interest

Don't mind them As long as their Pontiac powered - like this 428 Pontiac powered Super Stock 4th Gen. The Hatari Firebird Team has Won 4 World Super Stock Championships with Pontiac power

As I said, a hobby car, not a daily driver.

The only thing in my driveway, excluding my trucks, are Pontiacs. 1973 T/A 455, 84 GP 455, 2005 GTO LS2, and a 2008 Vibe. All red arrow cars. I've owned close to 70 Pontiacs from 1956-2008. Even my 3 Jeeps I've owned were Pontiac powered. All 5 of my dirt track race cars were Stratostreak powered cars, built engines for other race cars too.

I didn't quit buying their cars in 1981 and sellout to honda, toyota, chevy, ford, chrysler, etc. for daily drivers and whine about no more Stratosreak V8s. Pontiac has been using corporate engines long before 1981, no one seems to remember that though.
