Default Temporary nitrous cam question

I have a solid roller cam (erson 302-7) @ .050 276-284 450 lobe on in. 430 lobe on ex. 1.8 RR cam on 106 LSA. My question is will this cam work ok, on a temporary bases, take a few nitrous hits safely? I would rather run N/A but a streetable pump gas 1000 hp might be too rowdy for me.
There is a local street racing class at Richmond Dragway and to thrive on the list I will need another couple hundred HP. ( My N/A pontiac is just a little short on hp to run with the top dogs with nos, blowers and turbos.)

My current cam in the car is @ .050 264-270 740- 740 with 1.8 RR on 110 LSA. It is installed 2* adv.

Steve

I am by no means an expert with nitrous but i have run a 150 shot on a non nitrous cam many times with no issues. My buddy runs a 200 shot on his car with a non nitrous cam and has 0 issues (his is a sbc). I believe a nitrous cam just makes the most out of using nitrous and people generally run on when they have big shots 300+. I do not see a reason why you would have an issue with a 200 as long as it doesnt run lean and you use a good quality fuel. Make sure you ring end gaps are good and you may have to run a diffrent plug.

I think I am good to go, too. My kits are good to 500 extra HP but I will not push it,
