Tom- Alex's odd-fire engine (V8 crank) will need an odd-fire ignition system. A 4-cylinder distributor provides just even-firing, every 180 degrees of crank rotation. His idea of using 1-3-5-7 of a V8 distributor should work fine.

Last week I recieved 2 sets of 350 pistons and 6 h beam rods i picked up cheap. I hope to get weights measured and start designing bob weights this week.
