Default Barrett 2017

One of the vexing things is they always seem to cut out for commercial when a Pontiac is rolling up. But the live feed does not:

https://www.barrett-jackson.com/Live/Streaming/Video

all you have to do is sort out the auctioneers gibberish...

I saw a pretty nice '55 Pontiac go across the auction block on TV last night, I think it sold for $45k or something like that.

Went there last Sunday and seen them all.
Can't believe what the 68 GTO sold for with the paint bubbling off.

I didn't look that car over too carefully but weren't the problem spots on just the hood? $24,200 with buyer's premium seemed like a reasonable deal. $400 for a hood repaint and you would have a nice driver and be into the car for less than $23k.
I didn't get to look under the hood though.....

The blue 68?
That thing was bubbles all over, needs to be totally stripped down and re done.

I can't understand a word the auctioneer is saying. Sounds like a chipmonk.

But I sure like watching the girl who opens the car doors. She has a very nice "rear end"

Indeed.

I am not getting some of the monkey motion here; do the cars coast to the podium or motor in?
And if they motor in, why have a couple of goofs push them off? They also have a guy whose sole task seems to be to open the hoods then close them.

I am here now headed back tomorrow. I am surprised at the 55-58 Pontiacs here. Quite a few.

I noticed that too. I also think she's the one who puts the "SOLD" sticker on the window and writes the price thereon. That keeps me interested in the virtually infinite number of Chebbies.

If you think that there aren't enough Pontiacs shown, try watching for Packards!

Bummer. I better stop looking at cars when it's raining.

Mrrat1 is right, wait until a mustang or a shelby comes up on stage, Steve Davis will take over the mike and it will get more than even the corvette gets
