Just got done getting my junk ready for this upcoming season. Now that I have the ability, I hope to pound on it every week for an entire season locally. Gonna be playing the top bulb and bottom bulb game this year it looks like. If I can get the car back to where it was last spring, we are in good shape. I sure did like the .02 spread I had in a 40 degree temperature swing.

Later in the year:
4L80 manual goes in ( hey itsa got OD ).
AC compressor and charge goes in.

Better end-up in the 11's on 89 Octane.
Want to test an old school Crower(Monarch series I think) solid? 288 advertised 246 @ .050 .465 lift. .018 lash 110 LSA 106 ICL. Net lift should be .447 unless you go with 1.65 rocker or better. Its new in box...I've had it for a long time. Should idle decent and be done making power at 5500 on a 455.

I think so. Do you suppose i should use Desktop Dino 2000 to run the spread of cams, to learn anything? or is that tool a joke?

Since finishing the car up mid season last year, and fighting some gremlins the last race I attended I was able to make some full passes with no issues, so this winter is just going to be new headers, new slicks wider rims, play with suspension adjustments and seat time, lots of seat time, lol

Had some great runs late in the season finally broke in to the 10s. Trying another single plane . Like to experiment with a cam change. Have some ideas but looking to do a custom grind. Thinking about who and where to go.

Not changing a whole lot for 2017. My car is mostly street so not much race stuff.

1. New exhaust - removing the 3.5" - 3" Dr Gas X-pipe and tails and going to run a complete 3.5" mandrel bent exhaust that exits in front of rear tire on the side. I don't need the x-pipe with the blower...just need to get exhaust out quick.

2. New Moser axles and c-clip eliminators.

3. New front springs.

4. New rear double adjustable upper and lower control arms.

5. New rear tires - thinking Hoosier QT Pro.

Tentative is an anti roll bar and rear coilover conversion.

Just a street ride with an 8-71 supercharger...

Strange makes a real nice C clip eliminators with axles kit with tapered bearings for street strip.

Dyno2000 is very useful if you have detailed input data, including flowbench data of the heads. Especially good for seeing response to small changes in valve events.

New shortblock from Mike Voycey thanks Mike!Heads and intake are going out to SD performance very soon, rearend upgrade, remote oil filter, oil thermostat, oil cooler and 8qt oil pan,new driveshaft.

New engine should be just over 600hp on pump gas ,idle at 900rpm and drive like a pussy cat.Street car build.
