Default 63 gp throttle linkage

I searched the threads but did not see any info on my question.

My gp is missing most of the throttle linkage. I want to go to a cable linkage. The car will be running the original Carter AFB. Has anyone made this change? Any tips on who, what or how?

Thx Tom

If you have the original automatic transmission, you will need the factory linage from the carb to the trans or something with the same geometry.

type in parts for 63 pontiac. there was a guy on there that was selling parts off a 63 starchief which has the same linkage. I bought a wiper motor from him.

O/P says he wants to run cable for the throttle.

Does it still have the original automatic transmission?

If so, could you could create a hybrid linkage/cable setup using '63-'64 big car linkage with a '64+ cable for the carb?

...my $0.02.
