I don't have any idea. I'm not even sure it is a Pontiac. The first car I remember was the one after this one.

Just kind of looked like it had an indian head on the hood.

Not sure the back end looks the same though.

He replaced that one with a '41` Ford convertible. I'll post that one and a story about it later.

Thumbs up

This is probably the most interesting continuous thread on the site. Thanks for posting all this cool stuff.

If it was not a flood then I guess they just want to get the car out of the creek.

I'm guessing maybe some sort of accident. Notice the police officer on the right & it looks like the guy on the left has some sort of badge on his shirt as well.

I'll bet there was stories re-told about this event......

That yard is a bit of a mess though, so hard to say.

I think someone posted here that it actually was the aftermath of a flood. Should be withing 5~10 posts of the original pic?

Man, your Dad looks like he was a bit of a sport, huh? I'm basing that on his taste in clothes. It's a great photo.

Didn't seem like it to me.

I think it was the times, little bit after the war?

Blasphemy! They are fine dining establishments. A lot of folks go there on Valentines Day, that is if you can get a reservation. They started doing that years ago on a joke I think and it was a hit so they kept it.

One of the random Pontiacs in my Dad's old 35mm slides that I recently had scanned onto a disc.
It looks like a '65 Tempest/Lemans sedan. Pic is from about 1972. That's my youngest brother with the older gentleman.

Perhaps a brand new '66 Buick Skylark. Pic is from 1966.
The man sitting on the back was the owner of the local Chevy/Olds dealer. Charlene Camp was 'Miss Watervliet' (Mich) 1966.

Chevrolet never had a straight eight, only Olds, Pontiac, LaSalle, Buick. Of the four only the Buick straight eight was OHV. Chevrolet six was also OHV.
