Let me spell this out again for you. The heads really hit the market what...around 2009ish? Thats 7 years. But they havent even been in production for at least 3 years. And very few during those first few years they were being produced were sold and ended up on running cars.

So they were in production for around 4 years by my estimate. Anyone else here take math in school? 7 - 3 = ?

Yes, because we know there are whole threads devoted to bashing E-heads? Whole groups of people jumping on E-heads is it? Point them out. I have a feeling you're going to tell me to look them up myself.

Again, you won't even admit your own bias or having participated in any of it. But guess what? I'm not even here pointing fingers.

After years of watching on the sidelines here I've seen enough to just ask that it stop now. Let it go. Let the CV-1 head either stand or fail on its own without further vitriol.

And I'm not naming you Paul. I'm talking everyone. Give guys like Jim Roland and Dick Fulton a break. If there are those of you that don't like Bill just don't exchange words with him.

This is the ONLY section on PY that acts like this, and its about a dozen or so people.

And...if you noticed not every part of that post referred to you Paul. Some parts of it were in general and referred to the whole group of people who have felt it necessary to bash CV-1's. The word "you" can be aimed at an individual, and also be aimed at the collective group. Sorry for the english syntax lecture.

Actually the cheerleading part was mostly what I directed at you. Because if ANYONE has been cheerleading it is those shouting EHTTFMF!!!. Like you did just a few minutes ago.

Ok, lets deal with the truth. CV-1 heads have shown promise on Dick Fulton's car. They've shown promise on a few others as well. We have at least one person who was very unhappy with his CV-1's.

Let's hope Dick and Jack get to race next year. Maybe some others will join the fray. I want to see some RAV heads mixing it up as well!

No, E-heads have proven they are very capable. They don't come out of the box that way though. And are they the ultimate pontiac head? I don't think so.

So the heads came out in 08-09 right? They sold out at some point and according to you weren't available for 3 yrs, correct? So all progress/developement just stop for those 3 yrs? What happened to all the people that owned the heads during those years. They parked their cars?

You are very correct. Lets compare it to another cast head with very similar design features. The Warp6, both heads are raised intake runner, both heads have canted valves, both can be had with raised exhaust ports, and both have a twist to the valve layout. Seems comparable, but i'm guessing someone will cry foul.
