GMC/Chevy Z-71 Shock Replacement
I am sure there are many members on PY with GMC/Chevy Z-71 pickups of different vintages. I am curious what brand of shocks you have tried as replacements and whether or not you were happy with them. Also, when did you replace them (mileage vs. age). I have a 2006 with 163,500 and plan on keeping this truck so it is time for new shocks and tires to try and restore the ride quality. Thanks in advance for any and all advice and opinions.

I used Bilstein's on my 2005 Tundra double cab a few years ago. I believe at that time it had 115,000 miles on it and one of the OEM shocks was leaking. I gave the truck to my son a while later and it currently has 180,000 miles on it. No issues with the "new" shocks.
