Default The "Outrigger" was awesome

I chartered a deep sea fishing trip during our vacation on the Outer banks. It took about an hour and a half to get to the blue water of the Gulf Stream, but listening to those twin Cat 800's was music to my ears. Within five minutes of putting lines in the water we had fish-on. We slayed the Maui Maui for about two hours and had the fish box full. It was a great day of fishing?

I think we caught about forty fish. We were the first boat back, and this what we had.

Awesome!! Can't wait to get out this year. My good friend runs a charter out of Montauk. I like stripe bass fishing. I have been shark fishing many times, it's fun when they are biting but boring waiting!!

Wish I had time to fish ... used to love it when I was a kid back in Tenn. But that was barefoot, bamboo pole, cork bobber fishing .. those were the days

The Outrigger's Skipper slayed the yellowfin tuna two days after our trip. I'm thinking Aaron Wright knows how to fish these waters...

I'm planning on a trip next year, during the same week. Dont forget to bring your sea legs, it was a rough ride out to the Gulf Stream.
