Bait and Switch - Well Sorta
So I came across a black '70 GTO on eBay a couple of weeks ago. It had a starting bid of 17,500. It didn't sell so it was relisted this week at 15,000. Neither auction had a reserve. I looked at it today and with exactly 1 day left the starting price is now $25,000. What in the world is the person doing??? I hope it's nobody here because that sure seems unethical. If it hadn't already been listed for 17.5k I would hope it was just a mistake but it sure seems shady. Caveat Emptor
The listing is below: https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/222097902834

Pretty sure that's a 1974 Oldsmobile transmission tag so his claim of numbers matching drivetrain is false.

that code comes up for 1973 Olds 455 in a Cutty and for 1968 full size Olds. Not a Pontiac transmission.

Ad says have matching engine and trans, looks like a pic of them outside the car on a pallet.

Although he doesn't claim it to be original color, it was originally pepper green with a black vinyl top. Seems like a lot of money for the condition to me.
