Default Single parachute with air launcher---what size CO2 bottle???

I'm thinking about adding an air launcher to my Simpson parachute. What size CO2 bottle should I get---10 ounce or 2.5#?? I'm not using any other CO2-powered accessories, so it would just be for an occasional single parachute deployment.

We have a 10 oz on a single chute. I have also seen a 10 oz on a dual chute as well. No problems with ours. We mounted the bottle in the truck with a psi. gage in the license plate area of the bumper. Next to that is a valve stem with the line running to the bottle and we use a mother tank to fill the tank in the trunk. There is a toggle switch to active and deactivate the charge to the bimba air cylinder of the chute. Hope this helps

Thanks for the reply. As it turns out, when I pulled the deck lid and rear wing off today and reminded myself of the stuff I've got mounted back there, there wouldn't probably be room for the air cylinder to extend far enough into the trunk. I've got a fire bottle right where the cylinder would end up going and I'm not inclined to mount the chute out further to make room. We've been packing the spring-loaded pilot chute deal by hand for years and it's a pain, but I think we'll just leave it be for now. At the end of the year, I've got a bunch of re-certs to do and I'll look at the set-up again. I really like the idea of the air over the ratchet type spring loaded set-up. It looks like I could get away with a 10 ounce bottle and fill it from my MIG welder CO2 bottle.
