Post Wishbone rod ends rubbing on rear cross member

I recently installed New rod ends on my Firebird. I went with good quality Aurora pieces. The problem I have, is that the 2 rods contact the rear cross frame when installed. The OD of these are bigger than the previous ones I had. I can move the wishbone up and down with some effort. Any chassis guys here that might see a problem with this. The only way to clearance the ends is to shave some material off the round portion of them. I don't think it is a problem, however I do not want to have an issue down the road.

I would not want to grind on the heims. Since you did an upgrade, I would weld new tabs on the crossmember and then you won't ever have to worry about it again

Thumbs up

We did a small notch on the cross member. Problem solved. Thanks Dave. This was easier than welding in New Brackets.
