Default 69 Firebird Cocktail Shaker installation ?

When installing “cocktail shakers” in the trunk of a 69 Firebird convertible are there any form of rubber bushing that go in the large mounting holes. The clearance holes in the upper mounting arms on the shakers seem awfully large for the required bolts. Can anyone provide correct factory assembly/installation of them. My factory assembly manual is currently borrowed out. Thank You.

It has been a while since I had mine out but I don't recall there being any sort of rubber bushings .

On a related matter, would the installation of the front cocktail shakers add enough weight to materially alter front end alignment to the point where it should be checked and reset?

I would think not...

are they more than 100 lbs or so? I would guess it would take at least that to move the front end enough to make a difference.

I will throw one on a scale this weekend and report back. My best guess is that they weigh ~40lbs a piece.
