Default Anyone here know this car?

1966 4 speed, tripower car. Looks to be in good dry candidate for a restore job. Pans look good, vinyl top removed, seats look good, chrome appears decent. Wonder if that's the original WS block? Price of entry a bit steep considering the work it needs, but maybe it's negotiable.

Yeah, says in the add the original carbs and intake were stolen from storage. Not sure if seller knows what he/she has.

I think it's older than a 65. Heater nipple is on the intake.

That intake is a '61 -'64 unit, can't tell exactly which year from the pics.

Is that a large rust spot on the top of the quarter panel? Too bad there is not a more detailed description and better pictures on the areas in need of attention.

I wish I liver closer because it is an interesting find.

I was thinking the same thing. The car has been on Ebay, it ran it's course with no takers at 20k. I sent him a message asking where the car could be seen and advising him that the intake was pre 65. He messaged me back advising me that the car was in Anderson SC but didn't mention anything about the intake. He didn't change his ad either.

Anderson is only about 45 minutes away from me and if I can get away I may try to get over there to look at the car in the next couple of weeks if it doesn't sell. It looks like it would make a great candidate for an over-the-top resto IF it has the original engine and tranny and IF it has any paperwork (protect-o-plate, bill of sale, etc).
