Did I say what the "reason" was in my post, George.

And you did agree that the car and the Dragster at light.

So again you are contradicting yourself.

This is why (above) I made my statement. Now you are MOONWALKING.....and that's not a pretty site.

In case you might have missed the posting, Marty Palbykin is selling his car in the cars for sale section. Saw the listing today. Stunning Car and a known chassis at 236 MPH.

It will make someone a great race car.

Are you on drugs, George?

That being said he was not NUMBER 1 on the "KICK ALL COMERS BUTT" with The Crow.

The Crow was HEAVY, The CROW had a good suspension but not a PRO MOD type suspension (so Justin could use the power he had available), you get the idea.

So I have to say that for Justin the right thing to do to keep winning is to build a Mustang Weight type race vehicle but with a PONTIAC BODY. The Blue Car in the pictures fit that description. At some point you need to move away from the RAM AIR 4 camshaft, the cast iron RAM AIR 4 heads philosophy and move into the KRE world where the vehicle is lighter than a feather so that you can run a big number with the HP you have. You still need a proper chassis/tire deal but in reality the KRE Guys showed the way on this light as a feather deal.

So build a SAFE Pro Mod type car with the Traditional Pontiac Turbo Engine installed and kick some butt on the guys you could not beat before.

Good Luck Justin.

Tom V.
If this is the car then I am happy: as it is is lighter weight, has a much better AERO, and that he will continue to race a Pontiac engine.

Something just doesn't look right about the Hairy Glass 68 pro mod bodies to me. For some reason the Tim McAmis look better. Good luck Chief!

The "Tim" body has a lot of the much later F-Bird looks. "Snake Eyes" flatter hood, etc where the other "Blue" body has a "Down the Hill" gentle slope.
Without the Hood Scoop the aero would probably still be slightly better on the Blue Car.

There is no doubt about it, that is NOT a street car. The shows name needs to be changed. The list will change to a bunch of pro moded street cars. The little guys will be gone (like Cutty and Varley). There will be no small tires left on that list eventually. Why do you guys think Chuck is going big tire now? He want's to stay on the show, so he has to start making clean passes. I don't blame him smart move. There should be 2 top ten lists
Small tire and big tire.

Andrade back halved his car a year ago.

The only main difference in the cars that have been on the show and a pro-mod is a composite body and front suspension configuration.

Deputy's Firebird that was on the KC show is not a pro-mod, even tho they called it as such, it has an OEM shell, the car isn't much different than Shawn's Nova or Chief's GTO outside of the front suspension configuration. The only major difference between Deputy's Firebird and Kye Kelley's Camaro is the superchager vs nitrous, the cars themselves are very similar in build.

The Stude is a pro-mod.

If its on TV or the Internet it must be true.

Yep, 300+ pounds of serious Drag Race Body there. With the wheel coming off it probably will be ok.

I talked to him about it, he wanted a lighter car. Can't blame him.

They showed a short clip last night of the accident and it made me shiver. The Crow had just rolled on it's side and they stopped the video.

I had a sick feeling myself when they showed that. Even in slow motion some of those clips they are hard to see details in they are so fast. Anyone know when the next season for the Oklahoma guys will be?

The New Orleans episodes start in February so OKCs next season will probably start in April or May.
