PRW Water Pump Part # 1445500
I tried this in the "Heating and Cooling" section but no luck so..........
Anybody using the PRW Water Pump Part # 1445500? SD Performance and others sell them. They are advertised to have Cast iron impellers with curved vanes. How do they match up with the divider plates on the later model engines(after '68)?

X2. Did you buy it? If so are there any pictures on the business end of the pump? I was looking in to getting a new pump for new engine. Nitemare has been out of the Evans pump for some time now.
Thanks

Kauffman installed a PRW pump on my 76 455 (+.035) build. Not sure what the part number is, but this is the coolest running Pontiac engine I have ever owned. In the same car with the same radiator it runs cooler than the stock original 455 by 20-40 degrees.

im using the prw alum pump on a 10:7 467 e-head stroker. engine runs cool as can be, using a 3row champion radiator in my 2nd gen firebird.
the impeller is cast but looks to be a cnc'd shape/design, not just raw cast like the cardone or other auto parts stores. fits perfect on mid 70's engines. |
