Nice driver! fix all the wrong stuff, put a 4 spd in it and have fun. Wonder how bad it was, vin tag looks awful pitted.

Cowl tag shows 55 55 - Which is Crystal Turquoise in 1969, also would be 'K' code on paint chip chart.

1968 is the last year they used the K which would indicate Meridian turquoise.

Correct me if I am wrong but didn't Fisher Body switch over to numbers on the cowl tag for paint codes for the 1969 and newer from the letter paint codes for 1968 and older?

Is this car a real Judge or Judge clone?
No PHS posted on auction.

Its a real Judge, I have the PHS somewhere from years back as I had a chance to buy this car in 2006 ish time frame. It was somewhat ruff but very restorable back then. I will try to post some of the pics when I get home from work today of it then.

I remember that color on a 69 Judge Ra-IV 4-speed car with a 3:90:1 posi rear. it was 1982, the car had been rolled, and set in a farmer's junkyard, was up to the floorboards in mud, with rust on tops of the fenders, hood edges, and the price wad $1200.

I said naw. Someone did buy it for the VIN and all.

That paint job is way too deep and vibrant a color for crystal turquoise. It's been
juiced up some. Real crystal turquoise doesn't look that good. Originally, crystal turquoise didn't look anything like that, it was much more bleached out
a color than that.

I don't know about that. I will admit the Clearcoat does make all metallic paint look more vibrant but the color is dead on. At least on my Crystal car it is. I personally matched it myself to the original paint on the cowl.

Looks good to me. Painted mine in lacquer and matches the original paint in the jambs dead on.

Except for the wrong color stripes on that one, they got to go!
