Default New Firebird Owner

I've been lurking for a while and the forum has already helped me with my '69 Firebird Convertible. I am the third owner. The P.O. removed the 350 2-barrel and replaced it with a '71 YS 400 bored .060" over and with an Edelbrock cam, intake, and Holley carb. The transmission is a TH400. The differential is a 3.73 Posi from a '72 Nova. As you can see I won't be worried about originality. But is seems to be a good driving car that I hope to improve over time.

I'm not new to Pontiacs since i learned how to drive many years ago in my dad's '56 Starchief and i had a '66 GTO about 10 years ago.

Thanks in advance for the help which I'm sure I will need in the future!

Thanks for the welcome.
First order of business is to fix several oil leaks and clean up the engine compartment. Then when time and money allow get an overdrive transmission to cut down the revs on the highway!
