Carbs: Quick Fuel or Holly HP, Which Do You Run?
Want to hear from people running these carbs and how they perform on the street and at the track. Which carb helped drivability over what you were running before and which gained performance.

I have ridden in a 67 GTO (with a q-jet), tuned by a WW-II mechanic,) that was FLAWLESS everywhere.
I can make a Holley dance a JIG and hand you $5 change. Tri-Powers were my first love. Have played with hundreds of them over 50 years playing time. All that said, it boils down to CFM required to do the job. More HP NA needs a larger cfm flow to perform at the higher levels. A Q-jet is not going to make it in Pro Stock racing. 750 cfm, 850 cfm 1050 cfm 1150 cfm 1250 cfm, dual afbs, dual Holley 660s, dual Dominators, (all required for different applications. Obviously the 6 pack Holleys with more combined CFM liked a bigger engine vs the rochesters on a stock 389 engine. Tom V.
