Default Hi perf brake SHOES

So who makes a better compound for drum shoes? Tow truck needs a brake job. 1997 Chevy 1/2 ton.

I've also seen for our muscle car larger rear drum kits but can't find who makes those.

I used Velevtouch semi metallics on the 78 TA when it still had drums and man they were bad when they were cold!

I was going this way until I decided to do rear disc instead. I don't know if they do truck shoes to fit your needs but a phone call would tell you.

Skip, below is the source for the matrix ceramic brake shoes, spring kit, & wheel cyl's I picked up for one my 4 wheel drum HO cars. Went stage1, then had nice thick original drums kry'oed locally.

Same good folks as used to sell under the Praise Dyno Brakes name.

You can have shoes relined at a local friction shop....big cities have them. I've had shoes relined with real asbestos linings for several older cars....great results, low price. These facilities are getting harder to find, though. The Raybestos in the red box used to be asbestos, the blue box asbestos-free. Not sure if this is still the case.

I Dallas I used to get Mechanic's Friction Products to set up my pressure plates. Many of the top racers in the 60s-70s used them. They did brakes too.

I was looking for Praise Dyno and came up empty thanks.
