Default bronze lined flywheel

just installed=sounds like disc is scraping the bronze upon engagement to move car in first and same for reverse -should I be running a steel lined flywheel ?
clutch assm is centerforce lmc/it uses a carbon composite friction material

I've still got the bronze insert Hayes flywheel I boughtfor the 409 in the 70s in the Camaro project with the SBC until the IA goes in. Never had a scraping sound.

Same here, never has an issue with my bronze insert Hayes flywheel either.
