We did some stripe work today to see how the stripes will play on the Adriatic. Also got our first outdoor pics of the Adriatic blue in the sun.

Doing the stipes is one of the most stressful, yet rewarding steps ever.

Its almost a shame to cover up that engine with sheet metal, almost

Maybe a bit overlooked is the quality of the restoration by Greg and Steve's place. A level of quality that maybe set a new high? Can't wait to see it!

Looking great.

Would the door strikers not be body color as well? I thought they were already in place when the car got painted.

the car looks amazing!..I just saw the seat photos, deluxe is the best!..I can feel your pain about putting 2 holes in the dashpad...although the handle belongs on the deluxe interior I think the dash looks better without it...looking fantastic!!

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

The credit goes out to Muscle Car Memories Restorations. Steve knows his way around these cars, and the guys that work there are knowledgeable, true craftsmen... conscientious and keep a very clean shop.

And yes, the door strikers will eventually be code 24.

Hi Mike, before now the build sheet has not been shown. But since it's such a key component that substantiates what was done on the assembly line, it's best to get it out there for everyone to enjoy and gawk at

One note states: 'Black Trim changed to Blue. White Stays'

There's another note on there that's not circled that relates to the carpet but it's not legible. I think it says 'Delete black carpet. Use Blue'

On the Code 24 24 exploded view there's a change in box 62 above Code 24. I'm not sure what this change is for.

Finally, there are quite a few other changes that I haven't bubbled. I just circled a few to highlight them.

I've added the build sheet to the www.1972transam.net website also in the 'Documentation and Numbers Matching' tab.

Interesting way of making that car more unique? Great to have that build sheet too!

Huge huge bonus! Thanks for sharing. I never knew someone could have that power. But, this proves that guy did...

Yes, the headliner is white, but it would be for an Ivory interior anyway. The only questionable part of the headliner is that it was the non perf material, and I thought perforated was part of the Deluxe package in '72?

I forgot to add the exploded view with the hand written note that is illegible.

I think it's about the carpet. There is a "Blue" followed by a "C"

My guess is "Delete" black carpet. Install "Blue C" carpet

Anyone have a clue what it might say?
