The heads look great. I notice that there were tool marks on pictures #4 & 5. How does that affect the air flow? Or will those be polished out.

The guides are pushed back for machining purposes. That pic was taken as the head was taken off the machining center. If you look at pic #1, the intake port shot, they are full length and in position.

Yes, the tool marks can be polished out if so desired.

These ports are based on our 310cfm port, with more ports soon to come.

On low rpm applications, if more cfm is desired, a larger valve can be substituted for an easy gain in cfm, although, I don't like doing it that way... unless of course, you have a very big cylinder to feed, like 4.3+" diameter bore.

The machining marks create less surface area for the air to "drag" on. Therefore, they actually tend to flow a little more with the tooling marks not polished out. On CNC heads, we mainly just blend the areas where the tooling marks from the intake side, meet the tooling marks from the bowl side. this is in the short turn area, where the tooling cannot make the bend around it.

Nice looking head, BTW!

Yes, we can machine your heads. They must be clean and the decks UNmilled. Pricing can vary on that but figure on the $900 range to set up for one set of heads. Feel free to e-mail through the website or pm me as we will have another shipment soon, perhaps we can coordinate the timeframe and save you some money.

310 cfm D-ports run $2,999, that price includes Ferrea valves, hyd. Roller cam valve springs, viton seals, hardened seats, and LIGHTWEIGHT TOOL STEEL RETAINERS!

Opening up the bowls and going larger on the valve would probably see another 10-15 cfm, but to be honest, we haven't explored maxing out a D-port as of yet.

For substantially more flow, I'm working on a different port configuration... But that stuff takes time.

488 sounds nasty.

What lift are you measuring the 310cfm?
