For sale- My Dad is selling his 1982 Firebird tube chassis drag car. He would like to sell as a roller but will also sell turnkey with a 467 ci Pontiac engine. Has been 9.13 @ 149 with this engine. It's currently NHRA/IHRA certified to 8.50.

Any idea what is need to get a 7.50 cert on it?

The chassis inspector said it needed a few bars added but I don't specifically know which ones. It had a 7.50 cert on it when we got it. I guess the sfi spec changed when we went to get it recertified. The guys who had it before us went 7.70's at 170 in it. I'll ask my Dad if he remembers for sure.
