Default Hollow stem valves

I'm building a fairly high rpm 400 for my son's drag car (around the 8500rpm mark), we've got some Manley Titanium retainers and would like to go with Titanium valves but the cost is prohibitive, so we are looking at hollow stem valves instead, has anyone used these? I see Ferrea has some in 11/32" stem, is there a 5/16" hollow stem valve available anywhere? Thanks.

I have used the steel hollow stem 5/16 valves from Ferrea, went in a road race engine, zero issues, just talk with them and they can get you set up.

In drag race use I would say that only the intake valve needs to be a hollow type and at that point both valves will be about the same in weight!

You may be able to get an ex valve in hollow stem with a steeper back angle like 20-25 degree and maintain the same weight. The steeper back angle usually will show an improvement over a normal 10 degree back angle. Run the lightest stuff that you can afford on both sides.
