Default 63-64 2+2 help

Any one have a pic of a 4 speed console for a 64 2+2? A friend is converting his to a 4 speed and wants me to help him find one but I'm not 100% on what it looks like.
Thanks in advance.
Craig

Search this subforum for earlier threads...pretty sure you will find what you're looking for. Plus, the console uses the same hardware on 62 and 63 big-Pontiacs.

Also, search "google images" using "1963 pontiac console" - I didn't search 1964 because most pics are GTO in nature.

Good luck!

Hi Craig, I have a 64 2 + 2 4 spd. I'll try to get some pics for your friend. Not very computer savey but will get it done. I have many left over console parts, but Tom S. was right, really pitted. Also had several console compartment boxes made in the hard plastic that the originals were made. Couldn't duplicate the color, but with the flocking on you'd be the only one to know. Doug

Doug, you mean the bin or the outer plastic (that the chrome sits on)? I am trying to put together a 4 speed console and need everything rearward of the shifter plate.

Default 63-64 2+2 help

Hi Craig, I have the outer plastic base, the lid and front pieces and also the center glove box plastic insert. Took me about 8 buys to get some workable items. The lids are ok and with the right chrome can be brought back. Most of the plastic stands are ok and the interior light fixture is being repopped. I had an original plastic insert that had some cracks and was used to repop about ten of the boxes. I haven't listed them on my web site yet as I'm researching how and what to use to flock the inside. firechiefenterprises.com More stuff is in the making. Doug
