Timing Gear Cover?
Anyone know if this is a 76-79 400 timing cover. If not do you know what it is ? Tks.

Yep. It is.
Used with a crank dampener. Not for the low performance engines that just used a hub.

I don't see GM any where on this. Could it be a repro. ? I am pretty sure it has been with the car for almost 15YR ?

when you sell something...IN THE CLASSIFIED's..... it on YOU to determine the price. for 155 bucks you can get a really nice. brand new one From Kauffman's. cast aluminum that can be welded on if repaires are required |

I googled it and it probably is a 75-76 GM cover. It appears to be new. Very nice part you have there.

Cant use it? Or don't need it? Or look'n for the correct casting # for year of your car?
Will work on 65-79 blocks if using 69-79 damper and pulleys.
