--cross posting this from the '64-'65 section:

So the original balancer I took off my 65 had hand drawn lines labeled 35degrees. I bought the repop 2 piece 6 bolt from Butler, and it has 2 lines for TDC and ?? They're pretty close together.

Question is, how do you set timing with a balancer that has no markings for degrees? Do I buy a cam degree kit and mark it up myself?

Alternately, I have a new one piece 4 bolt powerbond balancer for 68-on. Can I mix and match later balancer and crank pulley with '65 bracketry and pulleys on the top side?
