OK I guess the repo gauges do have lights built in. Apparently I had a loose connection so I wasn't getting power to them. Each of them appears to have their own light, they must have a small LED built in. Here is a pic of my lighted gauges and my installed FM converter.

Found this pic on a 69 TA with stacked gauges. Looks to be a 5K red line.

You are correct Gary. ALL 1969 V-8 Firebirds had the 5000/5100 RPM redline on the in dash tachs. The 6 cylinder tach was also stamped as such on the back side and had the higher 6200 or 6500 RPM redline. I have owned no fewer than 8 original sets of these stacked guage set ups and have never seen a different redline for any V-8 car including the RAIV.

There were also two incandescent 194 bulbs that illuminated the original stacked guage cluster. No fiber optic on these set ups.
12 volts was distributed via a flexible printed circuit board.

Default redline

Anyone come across or purchase these repop stacked gauges..... they have a 6500rpm red line..... but I noticed the tach does not have the 2 side screws in them like OEM and other repops.

For all those just dieing to answer my last question, I found out GMsportsINC deals directly with the maker of the gauges and has the best price around.

And screws can be installed at 9 and 3 o'clock like on the OEM gauge face.
