Default GZ Vacuum pump crank madrel

Anyone using the GZ crank mandrel?
wanted to now if it will fit the pioneer balancer and where would the pin go on it?
there are two holes on the snout part one is further out from the other
i believe the directions said one was for BBC one for Ford/Mopar??

any does anyone have photos of their setup with the GZ brackets/spacers?

or perhaps there may be a better option for a crank snout that would work the GZ kit?
in a way i hate to give up the ARP harmonic balancer bolt, plus with the current setup if i need to wrench the motor over its so nice and easy, the crank mandrel puts me way close to the fan shroud

thanks

GZ Mandrel with a professional products balancer. Had to have my local machinist fit it but no issues and I've spun it to about 6800 with no issues. Probably not the best designed but it's been fine for my limited use.

The better option is this one: http://www.tinindianperformance.com/Tin%20Indian%20Performance%20Pontiac%20crank%20man drel%20drive%20systems.htm
This is what I'm using with the GZ vacuum pump. It bolts right to the balancer and you aren't using a 6" long bolt to hold it all together.

You decided against the Star Machine mandrel? It's a really nice piece and can be shortened if necessary.

i actually ordered the butler mandrel and brackets
perfect fit, bolted right up too

The GZ mandrel needed to have the pin re-drilled, but the whole alignment/bracket setup just didn't seem to work out that well

have a few more things to get done, then I'll get it fired up

sure
but if you check out their site, they had some very nice ones online already

the only downfall i can see to their setup is not able to have a crank bolt to rotate the motor, or should say the balancer bolt is blocked. i think TIPs is the same way???

the GZ one would be nice for that, but it did stick out far and perhaps the balancer needed some machining to fit, but from what i understood in their instructions is that it did fit flat on the pioneer balancer i am using

my only problem was the pin for the keyway was way off, not a big deal, just a slight redrill needed. just seemed like the bracket kit they sent needed alot of spacers and just didn't look right, belt alignment WAY off
