The totals do not include agriculture, which uses 80 percent of the water that people consume in California

I have a hard time believing that

Just reported on the nightly news that the Sierra snowpack has increased from 18% of normal to 40% of normal with the last three days rain.

And it's still pouring.

Like I said, heard it before.

I guess nobody's going that route.

Nah, we like having our lakebeds filled with water. I get thirsty in the summer time.

40% of normal is still pretty bad. Hopefully the rains/snows will continue. Cali's going to be hurting this summer if they don't get a decent snowpack in the mountains. WA/OR are in the same boat but not quite as bad off.

This turned out to be a good year for me to take off from skiing to get my knee and shoulder repaired.
