New motor is only going to be 13-1 I wonder if I coat everything and retard the timing and run a cold plug if I could run pump gas too?
Just wait...wait until you have a couple of those kids in college at the same time. The cost of those fancy heads won't cover 1 semester of tuition.

Bwahahahahahaha. You finally got it form Bruce. I used that POS under the front crank of my tag trailer so I would have to crank as much back in the 90's. Scott Misus has pics of that. LOL.

That was one of those................. Wenzler intakes that had a plenum so big with smal port design, etc, that the engine would actually shut off if you nailed it anywhere below 2000 rpm. Even with 50 squirters in a 1050 Holley. LOL.
I started to put dividers in to try and kill the area and then gave up as the Victor intake finally hit the market back in the day, Gave it to Bruce to use as they were gonna use the basic profile to develop a better intake for hard modded E-heads and others.

Need it back to set along side my 462cfm CV-1's.

He's ground on my Victor intake so hard that he told me not to install the engine with a intake plate or i might end up with a 2 piece Victor.

Last time I saw that intake it was holding up the tongue of your trailer.

I might "Step it up" later and pull the engine (reset the ring gaps, etc) put the old gears and converter in. Never say never right.

First gotta get it tuned with the E-heads being done by Chris Sikorski. Worked out a swap deal and he' is redoing a set of 1994 set of E-heads that I plugged the pushrod hole and widened the port, (The bare no pushrod head wasn't available back then) ported back then and let someone else phuck them up after telling me back then he could get another 20 cfm out of them. Flowed less after i got them back, dropped the valves .100 and almost had a fist fight over the deal. But jail didn't seem like a viable option at the time
Anyway. He has risen them from the dead and will be trying them out with the shortblock I currently have. Hope to have it running by then end of April. Cold weather has the money tree slim on pickin's. LOL.
I'll say never you dusty old fart! So now you have bigger compression and 200 lbs lighter, so you're ready to race! Don't you and others start this crap every year about this time? Go back under your rock and come out in the spring. (seriously hope you get rolling this year Ken)

This is what your ad stated when you had the car for sale:"This car has been 8.90's back in 2003 with BFG Drag Radials, single stage fogger and weighing 3690 then. Now around 3250 with 200 lb driver. Set up for Stock Suspension Real Street classes. Have owned it since the mid 90's." So I don't have my calculator on hand but I think 3470 minus 3250 equals 220 lbs. When did you take all the weight out?

I think Dude is an honest guy...but...he is an old street racer and as such they've been know to camouflage the facts a bit when it comes to setting up a race.

Mike... if your car picks up at same percentage as your picture postin' you'll be fastest Pontiac on the planet.

Seriously, I hope that your car does pick up notably. Lookin like no racin for me this year again.
