Remote Mirror "Joystick" location
OK
I tried to post this in the interior section but got no response after the first one to look at the back of the door panel. . 1965 GTO... I need to know the placement of the "joystick" on the door panel for my remote mirror. The panel is a re-pop so it doesn't have any indentation on the back side. If someone can get some dimensions and some photos of where it is mounted that would be great. thanks.... |

Zim,
If you don't get an answer before the weekend, I'll go over to the shop and get some measurements for you off one the '65's my friend has.

This is a Legendary trim panel for a 65 GTO. This should be an exact location since Legendary is the best out there.

A photo showing it installed would be great also.

I've seen a photo showing it installed but it was on a panel with electric windows.
I'm afraid it may interfere with the window crank. I guess I could mock up the placement using the ring and some double sided tape to see if it would be a problem at the given measurements provided by 6t5gto. . |
