Default do i leave this if im using a pertronix

On my coil bracket there what looks to be a condensor/or capacitor ?? connected to the positive side for electronic interference i think. I will be installing a pertronix III system and would like to know if you need to leave this pce connected ?

If you have no radio in the car you do not need it, and if you do need it it can be hooked up to the plus 12volts at the radio if you want to clean up the engine bay some.
