Default Who is running a March Serpentine System?

Thinking about going with a serpentine system on my GTO and was wondering who is running this system? I have heard that their customer support is kind of lacking. Their website says "#1 in customer support".

I installed one back in the late 90's, so it may be totally different now. I had to shorten some spacers, shim some others, cut a notch in a bracket to clear the edge of a valve cover,... lots of time consuming things like that, to get it to actually "fit." We had some issues getting the proper belt (I don't remember the specifics) but eventually got it working.

Is it the March PS or Saginaw PS?

I run one in my 78 trans am. I had to hammer a notch into my power steering pump to get it to not hit the control arm. It's hard to get the tension right but haven't had problems since. Use the goodyear gator back belts. The cheap ones I tried squealed like a pig.

2X on the Gator Back.
Check This post if you don't want to spend the money for the March Serpentine System.

I have had a few customers bitch about the install and not a bolt on deal. They wish they woulda use the other kit offered or another option. Also depending on the kit, some are easier to work on or use. .

I bought a complete kit from them last year. It was a two week process to iron out their screw up. They sent me 2 alternator brackets and no A/C brackets and an assortment of bolts to figure out. I had to send them pics and part numbers of items they sent so they could address the issue. I felt like hanging myself with the surpentine belt they sent that was also to big!!......After I finally installed the kit and had the bugs worked out it looks and functions beautifully

Interesting. I installed my March system 5 years ago and installed vintage air at the same time. I did not have to notch any bracket though the rear AC bracket was notched to go around on edge of the valve cover. I have to loosen whenever I adjust valves on the right bank. After install I fought a squealing belt even with the gatorback. Ended up using a laser aligner and had to adjust (grind) 2 of the spacers that came with the kit to get the belt to run true. Would have expected better for the price but 5 years and over 20k miles it still seems to work fine.

Hwy455, I can't supply a pic since the car is stowed for the winter. I had to notch exactly where carsmymistress did, front valve cover on psgr side to get ac compressor to line up. I believe the other notch was in front of drivers side head for the alternator if my memory is correct. Good luck!
