Question Trying to figure out approximate production numbers

Since I picked up my '70 Judge I have been trying to get close as far as determining how many were built with my options/setup. All I have been able to locate is how many total Judges with the WS/M20 engine/trans, but not much else. Are there places/registries that are keeping track of this kind of thing? I think I have a pretty rare combo but not sure as to how really rare it is. At this point all I can say for sure it it's one of 1831 with a 4-speed and base RA-III.
It's heavily optioned with power windows, A/C, Formula wheel, Rallye guages, in-dash tach (most seem to have the hood tach?) Console, 8-track, AM/FM, Power discs, Safe-T-Track, Power driver seat, Soft-Ray Glass. Is it a stretch to think it could one of only a few like this or are these actually common options? I haven't seen a whole lot of Judges with A/C and power windows...

Been searching a LOT and can't seem to find much...

You mean to say M20, not 4-speed. :twocents:

Default You stole that 70 judge!

I think you got a smoking deal on your 70 from ebay. Is that car as nice as the pics on ebay make it look. If you have the original carb and distributer I think are they are worth like 5k alone. Nicely done.

There are no production breakdowns available by option. I do know A/C was rare on 69 Judges but became more common on 70-71's. Still your Judge being heavily optioned makes it less common than a pavement pounder that someone ordered with low options to go racing.

Super deal on a great car!

FYI:

Judge with AC in 1970 = 791 total
Judge with AC in 1971 = 150 total

Thanks. I thought I did ok, especially when I look at what others have paid.
It's rough around the edges. The carb is not correct, neither is the dizzy, but it does have the original engine, exhaust manifolds, transmission and rear. Things that don't show up in the photos are small ripples/dents in the roof, as the car sat in a garage for 30 years and had things piled on top of it. But it runs really smooth, shifts like butter. You could enjoy it as is but it deserves to be returned to it's former glory.

The day after I got it home, I was able to take it for a drive before it snowed.

So I can say at the very least it's one of only 791. I'm thinking this car is probably one of a very few optioned out like this.

Diego is probably going to post there were 452 1970 GTO coupes built with the L74/man. and air conditioning (I don't know if they included Judges in that total or not, but being that The Judge was an option, it's probably included).

It was originally Grenada Gold. It was repainted yellow some time in the late 70's. I plan to return it to the original color...

Grenada is an island that the US invaded once upon a time. I believe the correct
name for this color would be granada.
