Jack I asked if you still had it never said I wanted to buy it.. Had another post going trying to use one for the first 2 races.. Another py member came through. Got it today.. But I did end up buying it instead of using it..Arron don't forget this project is only partially financed so far. Long way to go. I don't have LIL Jack cash.

I've always said we need one of those blow up boxing rings with the inflated gloves for Norwalk. Everyone can take their aggressions out on each other. Too bad most of us old farts on here are at or nearing heart attack age and we'd end up in the ER.

We all know when you mash 30% more mass through the engine with juice the cam changes a bunch. EVO will happen much earlier and IVC will happen a little later.
Wtf is a nitrous cam? Can someone please explain to me what it is? Is it a huge split on intake and exhaust duration (like I run n/a). Is it a huge scented line duration (like I run n/a)? Can I have an example of a nos cam?......

If you take your engine and mash 50% more mass through the exhaust port using N2O don't you think it will want something different on the exhaust cam timing? EVO will happen sooner during the expansion stroke. Ask Uncle Tony if he'd run the same cam NA vs N2O in his Cougar for best performance.

Aaron, actually big inch motors use NA cams that are very close to what some consider nitrous cams are.

David, thanks for the note. I get all of that. What I'm saying is that a big CID NA engine will want an earlier EVO when using Nitrous (spreading the lobe centers further). When you increase mass flow 50% it will change the cam for best performance. Make sense?

Doesn't All Pontiac sell a NA 1150 HP package?

When you have a Pontiac and need to increase the intake valve diameter to cram as much **** as you can in the cylinder you need to leave the little exhaust valve open longer to get it all out. Just sayin'

You are 100% spot on. Run the biggest intake valve you can package and let the exh be what it is (when you are intake area limited). The small exh valve drives the need for more exh duration (earlier EVO). If you take your engine and add N2O which increases the mass through the port by ~50%, you'll have to open the exhaust even sooner. Make sense?

Longer?
Or later? (exhaust closure)

My cam does not have one duration profile on the front side of the lobe and a different on the back side. I already run over 30 degree difference on duration from intake to exhaust so would a nitrous cam have 40-50????
