Mike ..I could have used that rear AC bracket you just sold...did you come across and still have the speed minder relay we spoke about earlier?
Did you chrome the eight lugs??? In the pics it appears that way. Car is beautiful.

That's an amazing wagon.. Never saw a split back seat in a '63.. Are the buckets stationary (no tilt forward)?

Paul,

Thanks for the comments. The 8-lugs not chromed - just the fin edges were highly polished.

Imagine being the guy responsible for all those part numbers!

If you have ever taken even ONE apart, it boggles the mind to think of the Pontiac-only part numbers...on 35 models for ONE model year!

I had no idea there were so many post and non post variations of the same car.

A post and non post 4 door Catalina? Who knew.

Put the new script on my gate on Friday. Cleaned the internals on the safety switch, tightened up and lubed all the window action while I was in there. I am going to re-do the old one with a black center instead of wood. May switch back after that. Chrome slightly better on the original, but the "wood" is toast and I have to customize an 'L' to replace the missing letter. Letters soldered in from the rear. Have to grind solder off and push studs out.

Thanks John!

Love a black/black car. Not to mention with #s like that.

Have a friend with a bright orange 4 spd T/A in Toms River. Been there for 30 years or so.

Great GP! Thanks for posting. Bet she runs real nice with those "minor" changes How long have you had it? I lived in the Brick/Toms River area for years, near Shelter Cove, then in the Howell/Jackson area. Used to hang with quite a few Pontiac guys from TR since the 90's.

I have owned it since 1997. Still have original 389 and A/C and heating components that I removed last year just because it is easier to work on. Wouldnt use A/C anyway with the 4.10 rear. 421 been in it since 1999.

Pretty sure it was a '73. Drove and worked on the car a little. His name is Russ.
