Walt would be proud to own this one...

Well it's over, great ending! Not a big letdown like Dexter.

I just said the same thing to my wife. That show kicked ass.

I agree. I enjoyed that very much.

I caught enough of the previous episodes during the marathon to be (relatively) caught up and follow the finale. Writing was excellent, actors did an outstanding job with the material, ending had just the right amount of closure. Lots of cool details and nuances that really added to the characters and presentation.

Except....if I understand this right there's still about 70 million dollars of Uncle Jack/Walter's money out in the desert somewhere...

I thought it was fitting that Walt (finally) didn't care about the money when Jack tried to ransom his life with the location of the cash. Besides, he had more than enough to leave to Jr., which was his original intention.

The only downer to me was he never reconciled with his son. I expected Walt to have written a diary in the cabin and hand it over to Skyler for her to hand over to Jr.

I also expected a longer end scene between Walt and Jesse.

But over all, I thought it ended well, with no loose ends or vague open ended issues for future shows.

I did hear that they might float a spin off entitled: "Better call Saul".

Jesse went straight to take care of the boy (Brock) and start over.

Good ending, oddly enough Walt went out by his own hand.

I was sad that Walt's son felt the way he did, but that's just the Son/Father in me.

Jessie's prints and DNA are going to be all over that place, he will be a hunted man.
I can't remember, didn't he lose all of his money?

I was thinking the same. At the minimum, his prints are on the gun that Walt used to kill Jack.

I believe the cops seized his cash after they picked him up for throwing it all over that neighborhood.

I really thought Walt was going to blow he and the meth lab up when I saw him tapping on the gauge.

I about had a panic attack when he got into the clubhouse. Had to pause it and go get some water. What a great show and now I don't have any idea what I'm going to do on sunday nights anymore, especially since I just finished reading the stephen king "gunslinger" series last week too.

Webfoot, Sundays will be for the Walking Dead. Starts again I think this Sunday. Another great show is Justified, it will start up again next year. I try to tell everyone I can to tune into it so it will keep getting renewed. Only problem with that show is no streaming re-runs. If you want to watch to catch up the only way I know is to order the DVD's through Netflix.
