Default 71 GTO Front Inner Fender Wells

Hello,

Trying to get a diagram as to how the u-nuts are configured. Are they to be attached to the inner fender itself? Or, do the u-nuts attach to the rad support in the front and attached to the body towards the back?

Thanks!

Default The front?

Are you talking about the front ones? If so, they attach to the radiator core. They have some u-nuts, but are a different size compared to a majority of the rest of the car. Also, the two rear ones that mount on the firewall don't have u-nuts. I can get some pics if needed.

I know about the ones that bolt to the firewall.

There's two u-nuts that go towards the back. These are basically under the car where the door and the fender meet.

Default u bolts

those 2 behind the front tire at the bottom of fender are attached to the body. Sometimes shimmed between fender and body at that point also.
