Hope you all enjoyed the thread and the comeback is complete!

I could not have asked for a better turnout on car with great people doing the work. I really enjoyed the whole process even a 5 day covention was more than I ever could have imagined. I will have great memories of talking to people and seeing other cars.

The car did win a gold and that was great too. But, more important was the response of people and the comments of praise and wanting to know more about the GT-37.

Car was even photographed professionally and love the way it looks in sun, also it got invited to MCACN's as were probably many at show. I look forward to showing it more just not sure where...

I am especially happy with how well the car sits level on frame with the spring/handling package states, the ride is powerful, it sounds stock thanks to Dan, and the interior was a big hit thanks to Todd, but best is the color/stripe and paint by Darrell.

Hey Pat, Your 455 HO poster will hang proudly in Dan Jensen garage, and I get the shirt. Great job on those!

You should start a thread on the 72 HO's you documented! Oh, thats right you have a website for that. Nice walking the lot with you and gaining some HO knowledge! Lets do it again!!

Hey Mike,

It was a real pleasure meeting you, Pat, and Chris S. and taking in that STUNNING GT-37! It was, hands-down, one of my favorites of the entire Co-Vention. I hope you enjoy it in good health! And thanks Pat for bringing the HO banner. I'll be hanging it in a place of honor in the garage!

Vince

PS - Here's a shot of (as I like to call him) the "HO-whisperer", with my car. I hope he doesn't mind! It was great talking HO stuff with you guys.

Great to meet up with you Vince! Glad you guys like the banners and the 455-HO.com stuff....thanks for the support of 455-HO.com! I'm still learning like you guys...was great to talk to Terry Pope about his car, and seeing some factory "flubs" from a first hand owner. His car came without the HO AC bracket, and never had the preheater tube connected on the pass side!

Loved your car too Vince! I took some engine shots for my web site. Gotta give the 71's some props! Hope to update the engine picture page and separate 71/72 and models.

Good times fellas, that why I goto these shows! Thanks Dayton!

Great meeting you too Vince. I didn't realize that was your car. I took a pic of it, on Wed I think. I have a thing for silver cars.

Great meeting Pat also. Always good to put a face with the name.

I think a lot of people just have never seen a early 71 GT-37 before (Judges included got a education). The stripes were the topic when they said never seen stripes like these before.

Let alone a 4 speed 455 HO car. Lots of people asks alot of questions about these cars and that was a treat. Mine even had the creature comforts like carpet and vinyl seats too.

But, imagine what a really low option GT-37 with rubber floor, fabric seat car, no trim at all 455 HO would look like. Roger, that would be one to show and give a education on....

Every time I take out my GT-37 to a cruise many people say they never saw one either. Since it does not have "Lemans" on it anywhere, people ask what kind of car is that?

barrierblue66 took this nice shot: Hard to get that lighting right. Nailed it! The "Creamsicle" as the ladies called it.
