Default Next Mini Contest

I figured I would squeeze one more contest in prior to the GTO/POCI Nats. Hope to see many of you there as I am a guest speaker plus I will have a small indoor vendor spot. Pete Serio will be also with me. Pete has been a long time personal friend of mine for over 30 years.

The prize for this contest is a discontinued printed on two sides full color GTO T shirt. Pretty certain I can match the size you want if you win.

Players: open to one and all.

Number of guesses you can take 3 shots.

Post your answer in this thread. First one that matches the answer I want is the winner.

Here are the clues:

While several answers may be correct, you got to pick the answer I am seeking. Once the correct answer is given I will post photographic proof as I got this item(s)? still factory sealed in the wrapper.

Every GTO uses this item

It is engine related

Its a part that appears at one time was offered reconditioned/rebuilt but you never see them reconditioned/rebuilt today.

What is the EXACT part I am referring to.

The one I have covers up to 1966 so it was offered at least thru the 1966 model year.

Again I have proof.

If you play you can take 3 guesses.

You got to nail down the item I am referring to in order to be declared the winner.

Good luck players.

By the way at my seminar I will be passing out a free DVD as long a supplies last. So not only can you get inside out of the heat but get something free. I am speaking on Hurst and early GTO reproductions and the stories behind them.

A very wild guess....

The firewall's Delco voltage regulator.

Hey, I said it was a wild guess.
