Default What Transmission Selector - TH400 Floor Shift

Fellas -

Wondering what transmission selector lever was used on the 68 TH400 with floor shift. This is the piece that the shifter cable is attached to. I think there are a few different styles.

Thanks

Scott

the only shifter used for a '68 GTO was the Hurst Dual Gate,.that changed for '69-'72 as they used the Rally Sport shifter

I think he means the lever that is attached to the transmission.

Here's what The Parts Place is listing as the correct item for '69-'72 -

http://www.thepartsplaceinc.com/pop-...id=CP5470Z.jpg

Said to replace GM part #9795470.

That's what I have on there now, so I should be good. Might be different for '68, but I'm using the '69-'72 shifter and cable, so I'll stick with this.

Thanks

Scott
