Default neutral safety switch questions

I'd be interested in knowing how someone who's switched out a super hydro for a T-400 has dealt with the neutral safety switch issue....assuming they kept the column shifter. The shift indicator patterns are different as shown below

Super hydro P...N...D-R...L...R

T-400 P...R...N...D...S...L

If you just kept the super hydro neutral safety switch and modified nothing you'd be able to start the car in Reverse.

Thx for any info.

IIRC the column shift switches for a TH400 are pretty similar shape no way to just swap?

I'm interested in how you'll do this...and if you've retained the stock linkage??
