I LIKE, I never new that about the 72's. The vin and a block# could be a digit off in 72. Is there a pattern, always +1, or -1, or random. Any other years like that.??

The reason I ask is I saw this in the ebay link above

Any year/any car can be like that. There was a barn find 69 TA on here a couple years ago that had a Camaro vin on the block. My Blue 71 GT-37 had the block vin one digit off.

I think its a "test pilot" for a seller with NO profile, and ZERO feedback... a dealer.. When I hit the 20K mark on a car, Im on my way to see it. No underside pics??? I bet the reserve is insane.. Not so sure the engine hasnt been out of that car and detailed either. ( I know, its never been "apart" BUT, could and been removed...) just some thoughts
