Thread seems like it might be an inside joke but here's the pit bike my 14 year old son painted anyway. It's a Baja 6.5 HP model but he put enough effort into it so it's now at least a 51% American made machine....He also shaped/painted the matching skateboard but sadly that is made from Canadian Maple lol.

Default Pit Bike

Here is what I have for the pitbike. Not my actual bike but just like it! Mine may be cleaner.

HO428, They don't get much cooler than that if you like nostalgia, I had a Trail 70 when I was a kid. Wish I still had it. My buddy Thom Trafford has a mint Trail 70 and Friend Davey Loprinzi here on the forums recently completed a full restoration on a 50 just like yours but his is blue. VERY COOL indeed.

I used my paper route money to rent the Honda Trail's at the local moto track back in the late 60's early 70's so I've always had a thing for them.

I got this one mainly for Road Atlanta, just getting to the drivers meetings from your pit can be a hike, but getting out to the far reaches to watch the other classes race is way to hilly and far on foot.

blueghoast, the basket came in handy @ the track for Ice, Parts, etc...

After we got back from Norwalk , I put the Basket on her Pit bicycle as she wanted it for carrying stuff around the neighborhood. the one pictured below, just don't have a shot of it with it on the bike.
